18 Orange Kara Fetterhoff
|
|
Kara
joins the Kidron Volleyball Club staff this year as the coach for the 18s team. A native of Wooster, Kara was a setter
at Wooster High School. After graduation, she enrolled at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Mich., where she played
collegiate volleyball. While in Grand Rapids she coached J.O. volleyball. She also ran a number of camps and clinics.

A former standout at Walsh Jesuit High School, Erin is in her second year with the Kidron
Volleyball Club. She coached a 14-and-under team last year and assisted greatly in the development of her young players.
Now a senior at The College of Wooster, Erin is coming off a very successful season in which she earned all-conference
honors as a middle hitter. She also is an outstanding student and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Shanna
is in her fifth year as a J.O. coach. She coached 12-and-under teams for three years before moving up to 16-and-under,
where she coached a very successful team that won five tournaments last year. Four of her players were on teams that
advanced to the Elite 8 in the OHSAA Tournament. In addition to J.O., she coached the eighth grade team at Central Christian
to winning records each of the past two years.

Erin grew up in rural Nebraska and has been playing volleyball since she was
a young girl. After a successful high school career, Erin went on to play volleyball
at Hesston College in Hesston, Kansas where she played both middle and outside hitter. She then played for a year at
Goshen College in Indiana and continues to play regularly whenever she has the chance. Erin was an assistant coach at
a high school in Nebraska and also coached a club team before moving to Ohio.

Volleyball has been part of Kourtney’s
life for as long as she can remember. A three-year starter and a two-year captain at Waynedale High School, she attended college at Ursuline, where she was a four-year starter and a two-year captain.
She also played on a USA volleyball team in Peru. The past three years, she coached 18s for the Surge Volleyball Club.
This past year, she coached the freshman team at Waynedale.

Stephanie
is in her second year with the Kidron Volleyball Club. Last season, she coached a 16s team that made tremendous improvement.
In fact, three of her players went on to help their high school teams advance to the Elite 8 of the OHSAA Tournament.
Her volleyball playing experience includes a very successful career at Central Christian.

Katie
brings a wealth of volleyball experience to the Kidron Volleyball Club. A former standout at Smithville High School,
Katie was named Wayne County Athletic League Most Valuable Player, District Player of the Year, and second-team All-Ohio.
She went on to Mount Vernon Nazarene University, where she was a three-year starter and finished 12th in career
kills. Her coaching experience includes two years with the LOCO Club and one year with Waynedale’s eighth-grade
team.

A
member of the coaching staff at Faith Christian Academy and a former standout with the Blazers, Amy is in her first year with
the Kidron Volleyball Club. As a player, she was a four-year starter and a three-time all-conference performer, as well as the OCAC tournament MVP as a junior
and a senior. In addition to being the assistant varsity coach at Faith, she also coached the middle school team to
an undefeated season in 2007.

John
has been involved in the sport of volleyball for almost 40 years. His career began at Penn Hills High School in Western
Pennsylvania, where he was a three-year starter for teams that won three WPIAL titles and one state championship. His
coaching experience includes time at Duquesne University, California University of Pennsylvania, and The College of Wooster.
He has nine years of J.O. coaching experience and is currently head coach at Central Christian.

A former standout at Triway High School, Kalie joins the Kidron Volleyball Club coaching staff as an assistant for the
14 Orange Team. She may also assist several other teams as well. In addition to her success in high school, she
was a member of the Wooster Elite team that won the 18-Gold Regional Championship in 2006. An excellent all-around player,
she will have an important role in teaching the fundamentals to younger players at Kidron.

A
former soccer standout at Jackson
High School where she was a goalkeeper, Ashley fed her love for volleyball by playing six years of J.O. as both a setter and
a right-side hitter. Since graduating from high school in 2004, she has been coaching volleyball at Fairless High School,
first as the middle school coach and most recently as the junior varsity coach. This year she brings her expertise and
enthusiasm to the Kidron Volleyball Club.

Jodi
coached junior varsity volleyball at Smithville for eight seasons and played a major role in the Smithies success before taking
over as head varsity coach at Waynedale High School in 2007. She also has seven years of J.O. coaching experience.
As a player, she was an outside hitter at Smithville High School before going on to play at The College of Wooster.

Orange Shannon Stauffer

|
Not only is Shannon an excellent coach and a very talented player, she also is the mother of two
up and coming stars: Danae, who is playing 14 and under, and Aleah, who is playing 12 and under. A former standout in
college, Shannon played for three years at Taylor University. She coached one of the middle school teams at Central
Christian this past year and occasionally helps the varsity team.

Athletic Trainer
|
|
Andy graduated from the
College
of Wooster, holds a master's degree in Sports Science and is the instructor for the
Wayne County Schools Career Center's
Exercise Science and Sports Medicine Program. He was the athletic trainer at Wooster
High School for 17 years, Director of Athletic Training Services at Wooster Orthopaedics
and Sports Medicine Center, where he worked with most of the high schools in Wayne
County and was employed by Wooster
Community Hospital. He
has been highly involved in youth sports in the Wooster Area for the past 10 years. Currently, Andy is a part time
athletic trainer at The College of Wooster along with teaching at the Career
